MewCop runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your webcam feed is processed locally on your device — no video frames, no images, no facial landmarks, and no biometric data of any kind are ever transmitted to our servers or any third party. The architecture makes this technically impossible: there is no upload endpoint. You can disconnect your wifi and the app continues to function identically.
We do not store, log, or retain any information derived from your camera. The jaw blendshape values computed during detection exist only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session and are discarded when you close the tab.
The only data that touches our servers is: • Your license key (a random string like MEW-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) • The Stripe session ID associated with your purchase • The email address Stripe passes us when you check out (so we can send a receipt) We do not store payment card details. Stripe handles all payment processing and holds card data under PCI-DSS compliance. We never see your full card number.
After purchase, your license key is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key "mewcop_license". This data never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. If you clear it, you can re-enter your license key manually under Settings → Restore License.
MewCop does not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any other analytics or tracking service. There are no cookies except those set by Stripe during checkout (on stripe.com, not on mewcop.com). We do not track page views, session duration, or any other behavioral data.
The only third-party service MewCop uses is Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
